The House Industries

The House Industries has significantly impacted the typefaces world. Their typefaces can be found everywhere! Whether it be cards for Birthdays, billboards, or logos, The House Industries designs it all. They have anything from neat and elegant typefaces to those that are rough and artsy. Since they have such a variety of typefaces, it leads me to believe that they are educated and experienced which is why I chose them as one of my favorite type foundries. The typefaces i enjoy the most falls along the rough typeface category and is called Soiled.

Type-O-Tones

As you can see, the website for Type-O-Tones is very eye catching. Its fun and playful mood on the hompage continues throughout their typefaces. The designers of this group are illustrators, cartoonists, and artists which explains the artistic characteristics found throughout their typefaces. The typeface I enjoy the most is FrankieDos because of its artistic, messy, but also organized design.

Pampatype

I chose Pampatype because first of all the website itself is very orgainzed, clean and neat. The phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover" did cross my mind, but the more I surfed this website and looked at the typefaces, the better I "fancied" it. Although the number of typefaces this group has created is limited, I found the typefaces to be very neat and orderly. My favorite typeface is Arlt SuperNegra.
